Commissioning engineer

(m/f/d)

Your tasks:

As PLC programmer and commissioning engineer (m/f/d) you are responsible for
the automation and control technology in the development and implementation of
highly technical plants. As interface to the customer you will supervise the projects from the
development, commissioning, acceptance and subsequent service.

  • Programming of PLC controls (Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT 3)
  • Commissioning of drive technology and safety technology
  • Commissioning of systems in-house and at customers worldwide
  • Technical contact (m/f/d) for specific customer projects
  • Analysis and troubleshooting
  • Process optimization in terms of quality, safety and cycle time
  • Working in an international team
  • Training and instruction of customers and colleagues
  • Technical support at the Emden site

Your profile:

  • Technician training or completed studies with a focus on electrical engineering,
  • automation technology or technical informatics
  • Ideally several years of professional experience in programming and commissioning with
  • Siemens Simatic Manager V5.6, TIA Portal and Beckhoff TwinCAT 3
  • Knowledge of (servo) drive technology from SEW
  • Knowledge of robotics is desirable
  • Independent, conscientious and systematic way of working
  • High degree of teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for worldwide commissioning assignments
  • Class B driver’s license
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
